Senior Data Scientist

• Develop and implement machine learning models for logistics optimization.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis and management, including data extraction, cleaning, validation, and exploratory analysis to identify patterns and insights.
• Create and maintain data pipelines for regular analysis and reporting.
• Design and develop machine learning models for predictive analytics, incorporating natural language processing for various logistics & shipping operations.
• Create visualization tools to provide operational insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Deploy and maintain production-ready code, ensuring timely delivery of data science project milestones.
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of developed solutions, maintaining high standards of quality and clarity in presented insights and recommendations.
• Document technical processes and methodologies, adhering to documentation completeness and industry standards.
• Foster positive stakeholder satisfaction with project deliverables, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's or related degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field 
• 5-8 years of practical experience in applied data science, preferably in logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries.
• Strong expertise in Python, machine learning, deep learning, nlp and GenAI frameworks
• Proficiency in Python programming, ML algorithms and GenAI concepts
• Proficiency in databases, data manipulation, data visualization tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks.
• Understanding of optimization techniques and data engineering concepts is a plus.
• Experience with shipping or logistics industry preferred.
