Software Quality Assurance Engineer

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Utilize the Zephyr Jira addon for test case management, test execution, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product workflows and requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using Jira.
• Conduct regression, integration, and system testing to ensure consistent and reliable software functionality.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed feedback to developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing processes and implement best practices for automation where applicable.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Zephyr Jira addon for managing test cases, test cycles, and generating reports.
• Strong skills in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) for web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Jira for bug tracking, workflow management, and collaboration.
• Experience using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured to test APIs.
• Understanding of version control (e.g., Git) to collaborate with development teams.
• Ability to write SQL queries to verify data integrity and perform backend testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines to integrate testing processes.
• Basic understanding of Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for test automation or data manipulation.
