Senior Product Designer (UI/UX)

JOB PURPOSE
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that deliver a seamless and intuitive experience across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, define product requirements, and translate them into elegant, functional interfaces. This role combines a strong visual aesthetic with strategic thinking and UX expertise to shape the future of our digital products.

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end design processes from research and concept to final handoff and implementation;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and user journeys;
• Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions;
• Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity mockups for responsive web and mobile apps;
• Ensure design consistency across platforms by contributing to and maintaining the design system;
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure precise implementation of design specs;
• Advocate for user-centric design and accessibility throughout the product development cycle;
• Participate in product reviews and provide constructive feedback on UX and UI aspects;
• Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively introduce improvements;
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to evolving our design practices and culture.

 
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, TRAITS

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or digital design roles;
• Proven track record of designing intuitive, scalable digital products from concept to launch;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and polished UI design;
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams;
• Experience with responsive web and native mobile design (iOS and Android);
• Familiarity with design systems, pattern libraries, and scalable component-based design.

Knowledge

• Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD);
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and developer handoff processes (not mandatory but a plus);
• Strong knowledge of UX methodologies, accessibility standards, and usability best practices;
• Familiarity with tools for user testing, analytics, and feedback collection (e.g., Maze, Hotjar, Google Analytics).

Skills

• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, layout, and color;
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to articulate design decisions;
