We are seeking a resourceful Business Development Specialist to expand our business and improve our branding initiatives. Your duties will include establishing networks with industry specialists, maintaining valued customer relationships, and negotiating deals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalise on business opportunities
- Present our company to potential clients
- Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, and dealing
- Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
- Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction, and facilitate organic growth
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, B2B Sales Executive or similar roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with clients and upper management.
- Positive attitude and demonstrate solid teamwork - You ask for and offer help when needed
- Excellent conflict management, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience in business development strategies and proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Alert to new opportunities, techniques and approaches, like new pricing/payment plans
- Experience with SQL is advantageous
