Senior Sortation Center Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to join our team and lead strategic initiatives for optimizing sorting center operations and fleet utilization. In this role, you will develop high-level process strategies, analyze operational data to generate KPI reports, and design cost-effective, continuous improvement projects—while collaborating with senior leadership, motivating cross-functional teams, and managing supplier negotiations to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Strategy:

•    Develop high-level sorting center strategies to optimize processes.
•    Collaborate with senior management to integrate logistics processes.
•    Analyze market trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

Management & Supervision:

•    Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency.
•    Manage human resources at a senior level, including workforce planning and team motivation.
•    Assess and optimize operational costs to enhance profitability.

Continuous Improvement & Development:

•    Implement innovative solutions for sorting and distribution process optimization.
•    Identify operational weaknesses and execute continuous improvement projects.
•    Propose and implement training and development programs for employees.

Communication & Coordination:

•    Establish effective communication with operational, engineering, and HR departments.
•    Manage negotiations and contracts with logistics suppliers and contractors.
•    Engage with key customers to understand their needs and enhance their experience.

Required Qualifications:
•    Strategic logistics and supply chain management
•    Optimization of operational processes and cost reduction
•    Advanced operational data analysis and trend forecasting
•    Systemic thinking and a macro-level perspective on operational processes
•    Ability to lead and inspire large teams
•    Decision-making in complex and high-pressure situations
•    Minimum of 5 to 7 years of senior management experience in logistics, distribution, and supply chain operations.
