Software QA Test Engineer

We're looking for an experienced & creative teammate :

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans encompassing functional, regression, API, performance, and end-to-end testing specific to the e-commerce platform.
• Utilize automation testing frameworks such as Cypress.io, Jest, or similar tools, to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Leverage API testing tools like Postman to ensure smooth data exchange between the platform and external systems.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects efficiently.
• Document test cases and results using dedicated test management tools like Qase.io or similar platforms.
• Participate in performance testing using tools like Apache JMeter or K6 to optimize platform speed and responsiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and testing best practices to continuously improve the testing approach.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA or a related field.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, non-functional, and API testing.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Cypress.io, Jest, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and knowledge of related functionalities is a plus.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with performance testing tools like Apache JMeter or K6.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks specifically designed for e-commerce applications.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and customer journey optimization.
