About Us
Bitceptron is the first company in Iran dedicated to building Bitcoin based services and products. We are focused on security, privacy, and sovereignty—not hype. Our goal is to build reliable and auditable systems that support Bitcoin adoption.
We are looking for committed software engineers who have strong foundations in computer science or computer engineering. You do not need to know Rust or Bitcoin to apply. You do need to be able to think rigorously, write correct code, and learn quickly.
This is not a job for casual or “vibe” coders. We are building systems that matter.
What You’ll Do
- Develop core infrastructure: Build secure and efficient backend systems that interact with the Bitcoin protocol.
- Implement and maintain software: Write and maintain clean, well-documented code. Fix bugs, add features, and participate in releases.
- Learn new technologies: Ramp up quickly on Rust, Bitcoin, and applied cryptography with support from the team.
- Collaborate with engineers: Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and implementation planning.
- Focus on Quality and Security: Write code that is correct, testable, and designed to handle edge cases and adversarial environments.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Solid CS/CE Background: A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent real-world understanding.
- Ability to Learn Rust: Prior Rust experience is a plus but not required. You must be able to learn and write safe, idiomatic Rust code.
- Strong Programming Foundations: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory, concurrency, and networking.
- Basic Cryptography Knowledge: Comfort with concepts like hashing, public-key cryptography, and digital signatures.
- Systems Thinking: Interest or experience in low-level systems programming, protocol design, or backend infrastructure.
- Clear Communication: Strong written and spoken English, especially for technical discussion and documentation.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Rust in production environments
- Background in C++ or Java
- Embedded systems development experience
- Exposure to Bitcoin, Lightning Network, or decentralized bitcoin protocols
- Open-source contributions, especially to low-level or security-sensitive projects
Why Bitceptron?
- Be part of a mission-driven team building Bitcoin infrastructure in Iran from the ground up
- Solve real-world engineering problems in security, privacy, and decentralized computing
- Join a focused, technically serious culture with no bureaucracy and no fluff
- Work alongside engineers and cryptographers deeply committed to Bitcoin's long-term future
Location
On-site – Tehran, Iran
We believe in high-bandwidth, in-person collaboration—especially for early-stage, high-integrity engineering work.
