Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend applications using Node.js and its frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services and APIs.
• Work with SQL databases to design, query, and optimize data structures and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.
• This is a hybrid role (2 days on-site).

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and relational databases.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with Node.js testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) and practical experience with various testing types (Unit, Functional, Integration).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with in-memory databases (e.g., Redis).
• Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Kanban (Trello).
