Sales & Market Development Engineer

1. Technical and Market Knowledge
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems (PLC, DCS, MMS, Electronic Boards, Sensors, SCADA, and industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Familiarity with advanced electronic systems and embedded solutions.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Good knowledge of key industries: oil & gas, petrochemical, steel, cement, automotive, and mining.

2. Sales and Business Development Skills
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial or automation sectors.
- Capability to identify market opportunities and build a customer network.
- Skilled in negotiation, proposal development, and closing deals.
- Experience with complex sales cycles and long-term customer engagement.


3. Market Knowledge in Iran
- Familiarity with decision-making structures in industrial organizations.
- Experience working with EPC projects, governmental tenders, and procurement procedures.
- Experience Working with Setad-Iran, SRM of employer companies.
- Established contacts with engineering, technical, and purchasing departments of industrial firms.

4. Communication and Soft Skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and persuasive communication skills.
- Goal-oriented, persistent, and capable of working in a team environment.
- Able to prepare market analysis and sales reports.

5. Language and Software Skills
- Proficiency in English (technical reading and writing, email correspondence, and presentations).
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

6. Emotional and Cognitive Intelligence
- Minimum IQ: 115 to support analytical thinking and technical understanding.
- Minimum EQ: 80/100 to handle negotiations, empathy, and relationship building.

7. MBTI Personality Type
- Preferred types: ENTJ, ENFJ, ESTJ, ENFP (strong in leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills).

8. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial sales or technical sales roles.
- Willingness to travel across Iran to visit customers and attend industry events.
- The ability to create professional content for social media will be considered an advantage.
