Role Overview:
We are an innovative AI-driven startup focused on transforming market analysis. As a Product Designer, you will work closely with the Product Manager to design intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly experiences that meet the needs of users. You will be involved in user research, UX/UI design, prototyping, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a platform that enhances user engagement and accessibility. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping the MVP and the long-term product vision.

Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Insights

• Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, testing) to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Analyze feedback and integrate findings into actionable design solutions.

Engaging User Experiences

• Design compelling user experiences that keep users engaged and make the interaction with data intuitive and enjoyable.
• Ensure simplicity and usability across the platform, catering to both novice and advanced users.

Collaborative Design Process

• Work closely with the Product Manager, engineers, and cross-functional teams to align design solutions with product requirements and business goals.
• Provide creative solutions and strategic design insights that enhance the product's value proposition.

User Flows and Prototyping

• Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate your design vision and ensure alignment with the product strategy.
• Use design tools to create interactive prototypes that showcase how users will interact with the platform.

Iterative Design

• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into product updates, iterating on designs to improve user experience.
• Conduct usability testing to refine designs based on real-world feedback and continuously enhance the platform’s usability.

Design Communication

• Communicate your design concepts clearly through wireframes, flow diagrams, and prototypes at various stages of the design process.
• Present design decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Implementation Support

• Collaborate with engineering teams during the implementation phase to ensure design specifications are accurately followed and the design vision is executed.

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer, preferably in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Strong experience in user research, usability testing, and applying insights to inform design decisions.
• Expertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, or Adobe XD.
• Proven experience in implementing visual design systems across desktop and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
• Strong portfolio showcasing your experience with user-centered design and problem-solving, especially in complex systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with generative AI, data visualization, or charting tools.
• Familiarity with the steel and iron commodity markets, or experience designing for similar industries.
• Experience designing for AI-powered platforms or data-driven applications.
