Job Description

Bimeh Bazar started its journey in 2016 with the aim of creating a great experience in online insurance consultation, comparison, and purchase. We are looking for minds that can contribute to the growth of our company and guide it in the right direction. As a Product Lead for the Seller business line at Bimeh Bazar, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and execution of our platform and tools designed specifically for our insurance partners (sellers). Your focus will be on acquiring, onboarding, and empowering this network of partners who directly serve consumers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, engineering, and design, to define and deliver high-impact products that drive the growth and success of our partner network. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional execution, a deep understanding of partner needs, and the ability to make critical decisions while driving measurable outcomes in a dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and Drive Strategy & Roadmap: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Seller platform and related products. This includes conducting market research, competitive analysis of partner enablement platforms, and identifying key opportunities for growth, innovation, and scaling the partner network. 
  • Lead High-Impact Initiatives (Zero to One): Lead the definition, development, and launch of high-impact new initiatives and features for the Seller platform, taking them from conception ('zero') through initial implementation and successful adoption ('one').
  • Understand & Solve Partner Problems: Develop a deep and empathetic understanding of the challenges, needs, and workflows of our insurance partners (sellers). Translate these insights into innovative, impactful, and user-friendly product solutions that enhance their efficiency and success.
  • Collaborate & Drive Execution: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales (partner acquisition), operations, and other stakeholders to execute the product roadmap. Take ownership of end-to-end product execution, proactively identifying and communicating challenges to stakeholders. Prioritize effectively across multiple projects.
  • Influence & Align Stakeholders: Lead initiatives effectively across teams without formal authority, building strong relationships and fostering effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. Be able to align others on product decisions and direction.
  • Measure & Analyze Performance: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance, focusing on partner acquisition funnel, onboarding efficiency, partner activity/engagement, sales volume facilitated by the platform, and partner satisfaction. Identify areas for improvement and inform future development. Effectively use data and quantitative analysis to understand partner behavior, identify problems, measure impact, and inform product decisions.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate product strategy, progress, and challenges clearly and concisely to stakeholders, including leadership, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Drive Partner Adoption & Engagement: Partner with marketing, sales, and relevant teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies for new products and features, focusing on driving widespread partner adoption and engagement with the platform.
  • Champion the Voice of the Partner: Actively seek feedback from our insurance partners through research, interviews, and data analysis, incorporating it into the product development process.
  • Foster Innovation & Adaptability: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, exploring new ideas and technologies to drive product improvements specifically focused on enhancing the partner experience and increasing their success. Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly and thrive in the dynamic and ever-changing environment of managing a partner network.



Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products, with a strong emphasis on taking complex initiatives from 'zero to one'.
  • Experience building products for B2B users or partners, ideally within FinTech, InsurTech, or marketplace/platform businesses, is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle (PDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively use data to understand user/partner behavior, identify root causes of problems, measure impact, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and influence teams without formal authority, collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, manage diverse stakeholders, and align them towards common product goals.
  • Experience with user research methodologies, partner feedback analysis, and proficiency in A/B testing and experimental design.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive and adapt quickly in a dynamic and evolving environment, particularly one involving a large and diverse network of external partners.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry or financial services is a plus, particularly regarding distribution channels and partner networks.
