Backend Developer (Python)

About the Position
We are looking for a Mid-Level Python Backend Developer with familiarity in AI, and LLM integrations to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will build and optimize backend systems that leverage OpenAI API, AI agents, and ML models while working with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-powered backend services using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
- Integrate and optimize OpenAI API, LLMs, and custom AI agents into applications.
- Work with PostgreSQL for structured data and vector databases (e.g., Qdrant) for AI embeddings.
- Containerize AI/ML services using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI services using GitLab CI.
- Collaborate with data scientists and frontend developers to deploy AI-driven features.
- Optimize API performance for real-time AI/ML inference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and generative models.Requirements
- 2+ years of backend development experience with Python.
- Proficiency in Django and experience with OpenAI API.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and vector databases (e.g., Qdrant).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced AI/ML environment.
- Bonus: Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), fine-tuning LLMs, or autonomous agents.
