Role Overview:
As a QA Specialist, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through a combination of manual testing and test automation. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers to catch bugs early, improve performance, and deliver a best-in-class experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review product specifications and collaborate with tech and product teams to clarify requirements.
- Design and execute test cases for new and existing features.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites (UI/API).
- Perform regression and performance testing as needed.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
- Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of QA experience in a tech or product-driven company.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing strategies (manual & automated).
- Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks like Selenium or similar.
- API testing experience with tools like Postman.
- Proficient with bug tracking and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with performance or load testing (e.g., k6).
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases for test data.
