CS/IMS Core and RAN Network Security (Vendor)

Mission
·       To ensure the secure and compliant operation of CS, IMS Core, and RAN networks by coordinating the implementation and maintenance of security systems, policies, and procedures, while providing technical guidance to the team and supporting the integration of new technologies.

·       To support the protection of network integrity and service continuity by supporting cross-functional collaboration, monitoring key security indicators, and assisting in the detection, analysis, and resolution of potential threats across CS, IMS Core, and RAN domains.
Roles & Responsibilities
·       To coordinate and support the CS, IMS Core, and RAN Security team in executing network security policies and procedures effectively.

·       To collaborate closely with CS/IMS Core, RAN, Transmission, and VAS teams to plan and implement security solutions.

·       To oversee the installation, configuration, and monitoring of security solutions, such as SS7, Diameter, SIP, and relevant firewalls.

·       To provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and development of best practices.

·       To monitor and review security KPIs, alerts and network logs, identifying potential issues and assisting with resolution.

·       To support integration of new network elements with security systems, focusing on emerging technologies such as Vo5G and SVC.

·       To coordinate development and updating of security procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

·       To support incident response activities, including analysis and recommending preventive measures.

·       To participate in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of security systems through proactive recommendations.

·       To prepare and provide regular status updates and reports to the manager.

·       To support in planning and conducting regular penetration tests to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

·       To participate in risk assessments and audits, providing recommendations to address security gaps.

·       To coordinate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure compliance.

·       To contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network security infrastructure.

·       To organize team tasks and priorities, ensuring alignment with operational goals and high-quality service.

Job Requirements
 

Education
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Technology Systems (Telecommunication Management / Information Technology) or related 
 

Experience
·    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in core domain with good understanding of telecommunication, CS/IMS core and IP

·   Experience working in a medium organization
