DevOps Engineer

Join us as a DevOps Engineer and become the backbone of our delivery pipeline. You’ll help build and scale a smart card-based fueling ecosystem by driving infrastructure automation, system observability, and continuous delivery practices.

Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Management
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and embedded Linux components.

Infrastructure as Code
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, or Shell scripts to ensure consistency and scalability.

Monitoring & Logging
Set up centralized monitoring and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Fluentd for real-time observability of distributed systems.

Release & Deployment Automation
Enable automated and zero-downtime deployments across environments, with proper rollback strategies in place.

Containerization & Orchestration
Use Docker and Kubernetes to package and orchestrate microservices, ensuring load balancing, high availability, and performance optimization.

Security & Compliance
Implement secure DevOps practices such as secrets management, TLS, system hardening, and access control across CI/CD and Linux environments.

Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery and consistent environments.
Maintain clear, comprehensive DevOps documentation.

Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
Strong background in Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat/CentOS).
Familiarity with development pipelines for Java, Angular, and embedded Linux components.
Previous experience with smart card systems or hardware-integrated platforms is a plus.

Technical Skills
Proficient in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
Skilled in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Experience with Docker image creation, Kubernetes configuration, and Helm charts.
Hands-on expertise in monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Fluentd.
Proficient in Git, including Git Flow, branching strategies, and access control.
Knowledge of networking and security concepts: firewalls, TLS/SSL certificates, SSH, reverse proxies, and secrets management.

Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents or production issues.
