About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and work on our core project, Shoraka. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing scalable APIs independently using the API-First methodology and building robust backend architectures without external support.

 

Responsibilities:

•  End-to-end design and implementation of scalable APIs following the API First approach
•  Independently architect backend systems and database structures
•  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers
•  Provide multiple scalable solutions for system design challenges
•  Optimize database queries and improve system performance
•  Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices in backend development

 

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in backend development
• Expertise in Python and FastAPI
• Strong knowledge of SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, and Alembic
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, database design principles, and performance optimization
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to propose multiple solutions
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
• Effective time management skills
