Software Testing Engineer (QC/QA)

At Gsmpay, a fintech company specialized in mobile phones and accessories, we started our journey in 2023 as the lending-tech arm of Hamrah-Tel Group. Our goal is simple: to make installment-based mobile phone purchases easy, fast, and guarantor-free for everyone.

In our product teams, we focus on user experience, problem-solving, and continuous product improvement. Close collaboration between engineering, design, and QA is essential to us, and our work environment is both professional and collaborative.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Specialist to support product quality throughout the development process. Experience with testing tools and a strong eye for detail are essential.

 Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

Evaluate product code according to specifications

Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Report bugs and errors to the development teams

Help troubleshoot issues

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements:

About 3 years proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Working knowledge of test management software

Attention to detail

Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication skills
