Overview:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to help build, maintain, and optimize our core analytics systems as we scale. In this role, you will develop SQL queries, dashboards, and validation checks, drive resolution of data issues, and support key analytics projects across growth, fraud, and commission areas. You'll centralize reporting, improve data quality standards, and help strengthen our analytics team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in SQL and BI tools, familiar with data warehousing concepts, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilites:

• Develop & maintain core SQL queries, dashboards, and validation checks. 
• Flag data issues, propose fixes, and drive closure with cross-functional teams. 
• Support long-term analytics projects (growth, fraud, commission, etc.). 
• Lift data-quality and documentation standards as SnappMarket scales. 
• Centralize scattered reporting and free business teams from ad-hoc data pulls. 
• Build bench strength and succession for the analytics function

 
Qualifications:

• Proficient SQL for data extraction, joins, aggregation and performance tuning. 
• Familiarity with database design / warehousing concepts (star-schema, indexing, partitioning). 
• Experience with BI/visualization tools (Metabase, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) 
• Working knowledge of a programming language for analysis or automation (Python or R preferred) is an advantage.
•  Detail-oriented, automation-minded, and passionate about self and organization growth. 
• Recent graduate in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar (MBA or management-related graduations are a plus). 
• ≤ 2 years’ experience in analytics, BI, Finance, or data engineering.
