Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of release quality for our web and API systems.
• Design high-level test strategies and detailed test plans for new features and complex workflows.
• Execute manual testing for functional, regression, and exploratory scenarios.
• Review requirements critically and surface potential gaps early in the SDLC.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
• Contribute to process improvements and prepare the ground for future test automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Quality Ownership – You take full responsibility for what’s shipped and proactively identify risks.
• Test Strategy & Execution – You design thorough, prioritized test plans and execute them effectively.
• Critical Thinking & Communication – You spot edge cases, ask the right questions, and communicate clearly across teams.

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years in QA roles with significant web and API testing experience.
• Proven track record of owning release quality in complex systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases and defect reports.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and balancing thoroughness with delivery.

 

Nice-to-Haves:

• Exposure to test automation concepts and CI/CD environments.
• Experience in domains like insurance, finance, or other complex systems.
