
Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator / Customer Service Representative to support our Sales Department in a leading shipping line.
The successful candidate will serve as the key link between the sales team and customers, ensuring smooth coordination, prompt communication, and timely execution of bookings and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to customer and internal emails in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain strong and consistent communication with clients, building trust and long-term relationships.
Process and track bookings, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to customers.
Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Documentation, etc.) to ensure smooth shipment handling.
Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, follow-ups, and tracking customer requirements.
Maintain records of customer interactions, bookings, and related documents.
Provide general administrative support to the sales team as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a shipping line or freight forwarding company.
Strong knowledge of shipping operations and documentation processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) .
Strong customer service skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
