• Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards and internal policies.
Coordinate and prepare documentation for external and internal audits.

2. Accounting Operations

Supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Manage general ledger maintenance and ensure proper journal entries.
Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.

3. Team Leadership

Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
Assign responsibilities and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

4. Process Improvement

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Streamline accounting processes to improve accuracy and reduce closing times.
Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional financial processes.

5. Cash Flow & Reconciliation

Monitor daily cash balances and bank positions.
Ensure timely bank and account reconciliations.

6. Financial Planning & Analysis

Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Prepare periodic financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
 

• Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or FMCG industry is desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of IFRS  accounting standards.
High proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
Integrity, confidentiality, and a results-driven mindset.
Advanced English Languange Skills.
