Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of software architecture.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Telewebion’s backend services.
• Drive the recruitment and team-building process to establish the Telewebion platform team and lead it toward maturity.
• Collaborate in defining and implementing technical solutions and strategies.
• Contribute to building and improving team and organizational culture.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product teams, and the Scrum Master to support Telewebion’s growth and development.

Hard skills:

• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Expert in Golang with hands-on experience in designing and developing high-performance backend systems.
• Proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API gateways, and inter-service communication.
• Solid experience with software development principles (SOLID, Clean Code, DDD, TDD, CI/CD).
• Experience in designing scalable and fault-tolerant systems for enterprise-level applications.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Good understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, OWASP, etc.).

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring a backend engineering team.
• Ability to review and improve code quality, enforce best practices, and guide architectural decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with business needs and make pragmatic decisions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with graph databases(Dgraph, Neo4j).
• Knowledge of GraphQL and gRPC.
