To ensure the reliability and quality of our product as it scales, we’re looking for an QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering seamless user experiences, building stable automated test systems, and collaborating closely with technical and support teams to maintain a high-quality standard across our platform.

 
Responsibilities and Expectations
As a QA Automation Engineer at Rooberah, your role will involve:

• Designing and running E2E test scenarios that cover real-world online store use cases.
• Implementing automated tests and ensuring they run reliably within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating with the Support, Technical Support and Engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs.
• Maintaining and updating test suites as the product evolves.
• Reporting test results clearly and tracking issues through to resolution, ensuring timely communication back to stakeholders and users.

 
Skills and Expertise Required
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a balance of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience writing E2E tests with Playwright or Cypress.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end validation.
• Proficiency with Git and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical mindset and a sharp eye for identifying edge cases and potential quality risks.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and issue management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues).
• Experience in setting up test frameworks from scratch.
• Understanding of performance or load testing.

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented mindset and passion for product quality.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and support teams.
• Problem-solving ability and persistence in tracking issues until they are fully resolved.
