Responsibilities:
- Lead the full procurement process: supplier sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and payment terms
- Build effective supplier relationships and maintain communication.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers while maintaining long-term strategic relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations to prevent shortages or overstock
- Develop pricing strategies and work closely with the sales team to expand market share
- Prepare and present sales and financial reports to support data-driven decisions
- Research and analyze data and market insights
- Search for insights into consumer needs and wants
- Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities
- Strategize positioning of a product category to maximize its visibility
- Manage and track budget
- Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories
- Work with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories
- Calculate forecasts for product demand trends
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management (preferably in food or FMCG industries)
- Solid financial acumen (cost analysis, margin calculation, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Commercial mindset, results-oriented, and eager to learn
- Nice to have: Previous experience in B2B food supply or restaurant sector
