VMware Expert

We are looking for an experienced VMware Expert to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale virtualization and cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware technologies, disaster recovery (DR) solutions, and enterprise-scale platform design, with the ability to engage directly with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into highperforming technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
 Design & Architecture
• Design and deploy high-scale VMware-based platforms (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vCloud, etc.).
• Prepare and present detailed high-level and low-level designs.
• Assess customer environments and recommend optimized virtualization strategies.
Implementation & Migration
• Lead implementation of VMware solutions in enterprise environments.
• Plan and execute complex workload migrations to VMware platforms.
• Integrate VMware environments with storage, networking, and backup solutions.
Disaster Recovery Solutions
• Design and implement DR solutions using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSphere Replication, Zerto, Veeam, or equivalent technologies.
• Configure active-passive/active-active recovery solutions to meet RTO and RPO requirements.
• Test and validate DR strategies to ensure business continuity.
 Customer Engagement
• Conduct workshops and meetings to identify customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Provide technical consultancy and solution presentations to stakeholders.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with enterprise clients.
Documentation & Handover
• Produce detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and design artifacts.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to customer technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX).
• Hands-on experience with DR solutions (Veeam, Zerto, VMware SRM, or similar).
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure: storage, networking, and backup systems.
• Experience in large-scale platform design and deployment.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
