We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Specialist to join our team at Zarrino. As a QA Specialist you will provide feedback from the moment ideas emerge and remain involved in the development process until the properly tested product reaches our users and then help reproduce issues reported by end users. At Zarrino you will have a chance to help shape the QA process and improve the quality of new products for emerging markets.

Responsibilities:

• Test products, including apps and websites, from development to release to find bugs, malfunctions, and incompatibilities with requirements.
• Write clear and comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and checklists; execute them thoroughly.
• Log issues in issue trackers and follow up to ensure they are resolved.
• Help investigate the root cause of issues and provide detailed reproduction steps.
• Provide feedback during the design and development processes to improve QA practices and product quality.
• Work closely with the support team to investigate and resolve complex user-reported issues.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman (and Swagger) to validate backend endpoints.

 
Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant QA experience or a related role.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and organized approach to testing.
• General technical knowledge of how apps and websites work.
• Experience with issue trackers and task management tools.
• Familiarity with test management tools and bug-reporting processes.
• Firm understanding of QA methods and best practices.
• Familiarity with agile product development processes.
• General knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and design processes.
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger).
• Skilled in writing structured, easy-to-follow test cases and test scenarios.
• Willingness to learn from others and share your knowledge with the team.
• Basic programming skills (Python or JavaScript) are a plus.
• Experience with automation tests (backend/front) is a plus—or at least a strong desire to learn.
• Familiarity with database basics is a plus.
• Experience with debugging tools & emulators is a plus.
• Any additional technical background is a plus.
