Job Description

About the Role: 

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Online Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and communication skills, a solid understanding of online sales techniques, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients. This role requires proficient in English, while intermediate in French will be considered an asset. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in Montréal, Canada.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

•        Manage and grow online sales channels, ensuring targets are consistently achieved

•        Conduct negotiations with potential and existing customers, demonstrating excellent deal-closing skills

•        Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business

•        Use digital tools and platforms to track sales activities, KPIs, and customer interactions

•        Identify new sales opportunities and proactively engage with prospects

•        Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales campaigns with promotional strategies

•        Provide regular reports on sales performance and customer feedback to management

•        Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices in online sales

•        Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner

•        Continuously improve sales processes through feedback and market analysis

 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

•        Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

•        Proven experience (2+ years) in online sales, e-commerce, or digital customer acquisition

•        Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills

•        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

•        Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required

•        Proficiency in French is a strong asset

•        Familiarity with CRM systems, online sales platforms, and digital communication tools

•        Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting performance targets

•        Strong organizational and time-management skills

•        Experience working in a startup or fast-paced digital environment 

•        Experience selling SaaS or digital products 

•        Familiarity with AI-driven tools or specifically AI-Agents 

 

Compensation: 

•        Compensation is structured as a Base Salary + Commission 

•        At least 70% of total compensation will be commission-based, rewarding high performers with significant earning potential

•        Designed to strongly incentivize sales performance and business growth

•        For students or recent graduates, compensation can also be structured through an Internship or Co-op program, where up to 70% of the base salary may be covered by government or educational institutions. This program provides valuable work experience while offering financial support during the training period

Preferred Qualifications: 

•        Experience in B2B or B2C online sales

•        Knowledge of Canadian market trends in e-commerce and digital retail

•        Certification in sales, negotiation, or customer relationship management
