Role Overview:
We are looking for a WordPress Web Developer with 2+ years of experience to help build and maintain a high-performance, affiliate-focused website. You will be responsible for developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing site performance, and implementing SEO best practices. The ideal candidate is proficient in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, with experience in affiliate or e-commerce platforms, mobile-first design, and responsive web development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a secure, fast, and user-friendly website that meets business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• WordPress Development:Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Build and maintain a high-performance, scalable, and secure website.
• Performance Optimization:Optimize database queries and implement caching mechanisms to ensure fast load times.
• Monitor and improve site performance, speed, and responsiveness across devices.
• SEO & Analytics:Implement on-page SEO best practices (metadata, internal linking, schema markup).
• Integrate and utilize web analytics tools to track user behavior and site performance.
• Affiliate & E-commerce Integration:Work with affiliate tracking systems and e-commerce platforms to ensure accurate data flow.
• Implement APIs or other integrations as needed for third-party platforms.
• UI/UX Optimization:Ensure a mobile-first, responsive design for optimal user experience.
• Collaborate with designers to enhance navigation, layout, and overall site usability.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, or downtime efficiently.
• Ensure site security and apply best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with marketing, design, and operations teams to deliver aligned project outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on development progress, issues, and upcoming releases.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of WordPress development experience, including theme and plugin customization.
• Knowledge in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience with affiliate-based platforms or e-commerce systems preferred.
• Expertise in SEO and web analytics tools.
• Experience in performance optimization (database, caching, speed).
• Mobile-first design experience and responsive web optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with the international team.
