Overview:
The Vendor Monitoring Specialist ensures product visibility, availability, and performance in retail stores through regular field visits and data-driven reporting. The role involves monitoring inactive items, coordinating with store teams to resolve issues, supporting promotional activities, and providing actionable insights using Excel. Strong communication, analytical skills, and travel flexibility are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily store visits to monitor inactive (deactivated) items and evaluate their visibility and performance on the store shelves .
- Flexible to travel outside Tehran for store visits or business needs, when necessary.
- Document observations and generate structured reports using Excel based on store visits and findings.
- Follow up with relevant internal teams and store personnel to resolve operational issues and ensure reactivation of items.
- Communicate commercial plans, promotional campaigns, and activation strategies to store staff and ensure their understanding and alignment.
- Maintain strong and proactive communication with store representatives and internal teams to ensure all sales-related initiatives are being implemented.
- Create data-driven reports and insights to track item performance, availability, and execution quality in stores.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting)
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
- Strong attention to detail, persistence, and a problem-solving mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of discipline and accountability, especially in field-based roles
Job Requirements:
- Having a motorcycle and the ability to commute between stores daily is a strong plus
- Prior experience in retail operations, field audits, or commercial support roles is preferred
- Familiarity with store-level commercial activities and retail dynamics is an advantage
