Senior DevOps Engineer needed to own reliability, harden security, and scale a mission-critical financial platform. Design architecture, automation, and operations to deliver a high-availability, zero-trust, and fully observable environment—end to end.

What You’ll Do

● Platform & HA: Design, build, and operate highly available Kubernetes platforms; plan upgrades, capacity, and failover.
● Automation & GitOps: Standardize CI/CD and ArgoCD-driven GitOps; codify infrastructure with IaC for immutable, repeatable deployments.
● Networking & Security: Implement zero-trust network policies, secure egress, encryption in transit, and hardened RBAC.
● Observability & DR: Define SLOs/SLIs; implement metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting; own backup/restore and disaster-recovery drills.
● Runbooks & Enablement: Create operational playbooks, improve developer ergonomics, and lead incident response and postmortems.

Must-Have Experience
● Production Kubernetes (cluster architecture, upgrades, incident response) on self-managed infrastructure.
● GitOps with ArgoCD (declarative environments, promotion workflows).
● CI/CD ownership and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/Ansible, Jenkins).
● Strong Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, TLS, MTU/encapsulation).
● Security-first mindset: least privilege, secrets management, supply-chain hygiene.
● Proficiency in scripting/automation (Bash plus Go or Python).


Nice to Have
●  Experience with immutable OS approaches and automated node lifecycle.
●  Advanced networking (eBPF-based CNIs), multi-cluster designs, and performance tuning (p95/p99).
●  Observability stacks (metrics, logs, tracing) and capacity planning.
●  Backup/restore and DR for stateful systems (databases, object storage, message brokers).
●  Policy & runtime controls (admission policies, runtime security) and compliance/audit exposure.
