Job Description:

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:

• Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures utilizing RMAN, Data Guard, and evolving technologies.
• Implement and maintain database security utilizing DoD STIGs and best practices.
• Perform database tuning and performance monitoring utilizing AWR, Enterprise Manager, and other tools.
• Set up and maintain documentation to conform to DoD standards for obtaining and maintaining ATO.
• Create database design and architecture documentation for current and future Oracle database requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide documented guidance for resolution.

 
Qualifications:

• Expert level understanding and utilization of Oracle databases.
• Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.
• BS in computer science or related field with 8+ years' experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
