DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery speed and quality
Manage and optimize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
Monitor and troubleshoot systems, services, and network-related issues
Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance software deployment processes
Configure and manage servers, internal networks, and firewalls
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users at the help desk level
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and server access problems promptly
Document infrastructure, policies, and architectural processes
Train and share knowledge with team members in DevOps, networking, and support areas

Skills and Qualifications:

Software Development Skills
Familiarity with coding and debugging practices
Ability to understand and analyze code effectively
Knowledge of database concepts and management
Capability to perform testing on developed code

DevOps Expertise:
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, Bash, or other languages
Version control experience using Git
Networking Knowledge:
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Ability to configure and manage firewalls, switches, and routers
Experience with network infrastructure management and troubleshooting
Knowledge of network security best practices
Help Desk / Support Skills:
Proficient in troubleshooting OS issues (Windows, Linux)
Providing user support for hardware and software problems
Strong communication skills to effectively assist users and collaborate with teams
Experience with ticketing and support tools such as Jira Service Desk or similar
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or IT Operations
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Relevant certifications or degrees in IT, networking, or software engineering are a plus
