We are looking for a WordPress Developer who can independently handle end-to-end WordPress projects from design to deployment while contributing to the team’s technical excellence and process improvement.


Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites
• Build and maintain custom themes and plugins
• Optimize site performance and loading speed using tools like Lighthouse
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement design systems (e.g., Bootstrap or similar)
• Manage deployment processes (FTP, Cloudways, etc.) and domain/hosting operations
• Apply SEO best practices and continuously improve site rankings
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance to junior developers
• Participate in technical decision-making and suggest architectural or process improvements

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong command of WordPress Core, architecture, and plugin ecosystem
• Solid PHP development skills within the WordPress environment (hooks, filters, CPTs, etc.)
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiar with UI frameworks like Bootstrap
• Experience with Elementor or similar page builders
• Comfortable working with MySQL (queries, table design, optimization)
• Familiar with Git for version control
• Understanding of web servers, PHP execution, and caching mechanisms
• Performance optimization mindset and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver maintainable solutions

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Cloudways or similar platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, CDN configuration, and server tuning
• Experience leading small projects or mentoring team members
