Database Administrator(SQL)

The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications.

 
Responsibilities:
Expertly manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
Ensure and optimize database performance, availability, and security by configuring and maintaining database servers and monitoring system health.
Apply advanced data modeling techniques to guarantee integration and performance expectations.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real time, providing full end-to-end problem resolution.
Refine and automate routine processes, track issues, and maintain detailed documentation.
Guide and assist developers with complex query tuning and schema design improvements.
Provide 24x7 critical production support and perform scheduled maintenance, including release deployments after hours.
Mentor and cross-train peers by sharing deep domain and technical expertise.

Requirements:
Strong expertise in SQL Server Administration (3+ years hands-on experience).
Deep knowledge of Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), leveraging native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Proven ability with backups, restores, and recovery models.
Solid understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions in SQL Server.
Experienced with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory.
Experienced with SSIS for ETL and integration workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to independently organize and plan workload, while adapting to rapidly changing environments.
Skilled in multitasking and context-switching across teams and activities.
