Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Software Engineering
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Proven experience in building and maintaining web applications using the Python/Django framework
Proficient in designing and building APIs using GraphQL or Django Rest Framework
Experience with data modeling and processing (e.g., designing schemas, implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, working with structured/unstructured data)
Solid understanding of AI integration patterns and familiarity with how AI tools and APIs can be applied in backend workflows
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and ship scalable and maintainable backend systems
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially when working with external APIs, data pipelines, or background processes
Experience integrating Celery or other queuing systems with Django (or similar frameworks) for asynchronous task execution
Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ or Redis
Proficiency in using Docker for local development and deployment environments
Strong grasp of unit testing, test coverage, and code quality principles
Comfort with Linux-based systems and CLI tools
Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Upper-intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.

Bonus Requirements:
Experience collaborating with data engineers or working with data platforms
Experience mentoring or managing a team of developers, even in small teams (2–3 members)
Exposure to DevOps (Docker Swarm, CI/CD pipelines)

Work Schedule:
Location: Tehran - West (Tarasht)
Days: Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 20:30 (Non-negotiable)
Remote Option: Yes - one day per week (The week day isn’t fixed)
