At Miare, we’re looking for a Business Data Analyst to build and optimize analytical models that drive financial and operational decision-making across the company.
You will own the design and maintenance of SQL-based data models, create actionable dashboards, and translate complex financial data into insights that directly guide pricing, budgeting, and profitability strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain analytical models and dashboards for key financial and operational metrics.
Write and optimize advanced SQL queries (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
Conduct profitability, cost-efficiency, and performance trend analyses to support strategic business planning.
Automate reports and standardize KPIs for financial and strategy teams.
Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Strategy teams to align models and improve decision quality.
Leverage BI and AI tools to enhance analytical efficiency and reporting automation.

Task Complexity:
This role combines financial modeling and BI development in a fast-paced environment.
 You’ll manage large datasets, automate recurring reports, and support data-driven decisions with accuracy and ownership.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis or analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse).
• Proven ability to design, optimize, and debug complex analytical queries (CTEs, aggregations).
• Familiarity with BI tools (Superset, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Understanding of financial and accounting data (e.g., ledger mapping, accrual tables).

Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving.
• Effective communication and collaboration across finance, strategy, and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for advanced data analysis.
• Fast learner with the ability to navigate new datasets and business domains quickly.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on process improvement and data quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of financial modeling techniques (waterfall, profitability, forecasting).
• Hands-on experience with data visualization and exploration tools (e.g., Superset).
• Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Product-thinking approach and data-driven decision-making mindset.
• Experience in performance optimization and data pipeline validation.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
