Job Description
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data infrastructures and pipelines that support analytical, data science, and data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for batch and real-time data processing.
Build and manage data models, data warehouses, and data lakes using modern technologies.
Optimize data architecture for scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement data quality control, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate with analysts and software developers to meet data requirements.
Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.).
Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Share knowledge and promote best practices across the data engineering team.
 
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and platforms, including:

Data Warehousing
Scheduling & Automation: Airflow, Nifi
Data Processing & Storage: Spark, HDFS, Kafka, ELK
Cloud Platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift
In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL design, and distributed systems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
Experience implementing CI/CD for data pipelines.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Machine Learning (ML) pipelines.
Background in DevOps or related practices.
Ability to develop APIs using the Django framework.
Understanding of telecom business processes.
