Job Description:
As an IT Software Service Engineer (Virtualization Experienced), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s virtualization infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, performance optimization, and scalability across our IT environments, supporting the core infrastructure that powers our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Monitor and optimize virtual infrastructure performance (CPU, RAM, and storage utilization).
Design and deploy new virtualized systems, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.
Manage system upgrades, patching, and resource optimization.
Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure service continuity.
Document all configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to support business projects and ensure system reliability.
Troubleshoot virtualization issues and coordinate with vendors or internal teams for resolution.
 
Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and virtualization management.
Hands-on experience with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.
Familiarity with networking, storage (SAN/NAS), and backup solutions.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
Experience with performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation in virtual environments.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE are a plus.
