Frontend Developer (WallGold)

Job Description

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Wallgold, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the user-facing side of our digital gold trading platform. You will transform complex financial data and transactions into intuitive, high-performing, and visually appealing user experiences. Working closely with backend engineers and product designers, you’ll help build a seamless and reliable trading experience for thousands of users.

 

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, modular, and reusable frontend components using React.js (Hooks, Context, Redux or Zustand)
Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive, pixel-perfect, and high-performance interfaces
Integrate with backend APIs and ensure data consistency and state management
Optimize web performance, load times, and responsiveness across devices
Implement best practices for security, accessibility, and SEO
Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards
Collaborate closely with backend, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth feature delivery
Write and maintain unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
Contribute to the architecture and scalability of the frontend codebase
Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements
 

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or trading platforms
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js ecosystem
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks (TailwindCSS, Styled Components, etc.)
Experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming patterns
Experience in frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
Knowledge of TypeScript is a strong plus
Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development workflows
Strong sense of ownership, collaboration, and product mindset
Understanding of design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with real-time data updates (WebSocket, SSE)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker)
