

Wallgold, a leading digital gold trading platform backed by Wallex Group, is expanding its operations and strengthening its infrastructure to bridge the gap between traditional and digital gold markets. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to lead our end-to-end operational ecosystem — from treasury management and logistics to branch development and regulatory alignment.
About the Role
The Operations Manager will oversee all gold-related operational activities, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency in the handling, storage, and delivery of physical gold. This role requires a mix of strategic vision and hands-on management to build and optimize Wallgold’s operational network — including treasury control, warehouse management, and the establishment of new retail branches.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all physical gold operations, including treasury, settlements, delivery, and logistics
Supervise inventory and warehouse management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls
Establish and manage new physical branches or retail outlets to enhance customer access and market reach
Develop partnerships and diversify the network of physical gold suppliers
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to gold trading and financial services
Monitor and optimize operational KPIs, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency
Identify process bottlenecks and drive improvements through technology and automation
Collaborate with finance, product, and compliance teams to align operational goals with business objectives
Prepare regular operational and financial performance reports for senior management
Oversee staff training, SOP development, and operational risk management
Requirements
7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management
Proven experience in managing treasury and high-value physical assets
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the gold or financial sector
Demonstrated success in building and managing multi-location operations or retail branches
Data-driven decision-maker with solid financial and operational analysis skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills for dealing with suppliers, regulators, and business partners
Proficiency in operational management tools, ERP systems, and reporting dashboards
High integrity, strong ownership mindset, and leadership capabilities
