Supplier relationship management through phone/e-mail/face to face and supplier review meetings
Interacting with suppliers to obtain deal sheets/contracts and to ensure suppliers adherence to those deals
Price negotiations to get the right price, right product for imported raw & packing materials and Interact with internal customers (Supply Planning, Marketing, R&D, Production, Quality) to understand issues and to coordinate product/packaging development including innovations and new product launches
Identify, negotiate and deliver cost saving opportunities
Suppliers evaluation & selection and following up the formalities with local authorities to import goods from the supplier
Developing reliable main suppliers & a contingency plan
Understanding supplier capacities and development plan to ensure consistent supplies
Contract preparation and taking it to the last stage including the approval process
Setting up supply & confidentiality contracts
Attending supply review meetings and executing areas related to procurement
Supporting projects related to innovation / saving programs
Developing market knowledge and utilizing it in taking sourcing decisions
Improving payment terms / working capital and other buying terms
Working on eliminating excess fat (lead times, payment terms, stocks in pipeline etc.)
Interacting with finance to resolve issues related to supplier payments
Interacting with internal authorities and foreign suppliers to solve sourcing issues including sanctions
Collecting information to submit required reports
Handling order cycle from specs finalization, sample, placing order, arranging shipment, bank allocation, custom clearance, delivering the goods to WH, collecting documents and making the payments
Managing the procurement and inbound logistics team
Requirements:
University graduate
Good level of English
High personal and professional integrity
Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills
