Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with approximately 4 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, test, and optimize complex database programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing business logic within the Oracle database layer, ensuring high performance, security, and data integrity. You will collaborate closely with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver robust database solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Approximately 4 years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong proficiency in advanced PL/SQL programming (e.g., collections, bulk processing, dynamic SQL, advanced cursor management).
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL with extensive experience in writing and optimizing complex queries, joins, and subqueries.
• Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, data modeling, and design principles.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization of database objects.
• Hands-on experience with database development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or PL/SQL Developer.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Experience working in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable PL/SQL code including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Perform complex data analysis, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Analyze and optimize existing SQL and PL/SQL code for maximum performance and efficiency. Utilize tools like EXPLAIN PLAN and SQL tracing to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database logic with front-end and back-end applications.
