Job Description

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing and developing the tele sales team to achieve sales targets through effective communication with retailers and small shop owners. The role focuses on driving order volume, customer acquisition, and retention through performance tracking and data-driven insights.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a tele sales team (5–10 members).
  • Develop call scripts and sales tactics aligned with ongoing campaigns.
  • Monitor KPIs including call success rate, conversion ratio, and average order value (AOV).
  • Analyze sales reports and provide daily/weekly performance updates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging and promotions.
  • Train and coach the tele sales agents in communication, negotiation, and product knowledge.
  • Identify improvement areas in sales process and suggest actionable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and customer communication standards.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tele sales (FMCG preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in team leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales and retailer buying behavior.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data reporting tools(Excel / BI Tools).
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and analytical mindset.
