
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the annual research and insights calendar across all categories (Oils & Fats, and Foods).
• Design and deploy quantitative and qualitative research projects in house—from methodology design to analysis and reporting—reducing dependency on external agencies.
• Establish A/B tests with Digital and Trade and publish playbooks of learnings.
• Manage and coach insights and field team to ensure quality, speed, and cost effectiveness, including a quarterly training plan for the function and brand teams.
• Partner closely with Marketing (Category, Trade & Shopper, and Digital teams) to embed insight driven decision making in brand, innovation, and communication processes.
• Manage agency partners selectively for complex or large scale studies, ensuring best practice in research design, sampling, and analysis.
• Translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations with direct business impact.
• Build and formalize knowledge assets (data dictionary, insight repository, version control) to accelerate learning cycles.
• Oversee research ethics and compliance (consent, privacy, minors, data retention).
Profile / Requirements:
• 8+ years experience in Insights within a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or market research agency, with hands on expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research design, execution, and analysis.
• Proven ability to lead full research cycles internally: concept testing, brand health, Usage & Attitude (U&A), communications pre testing, and ethnographic/qualitative studies.
• Strong analytical thinking and storytelling; able to influence senior leadership decisions.
• Experience managing research budgets, agencies, and internal field operations.
• Leadership skills to develop in house researchers and field teams.
