Job Brief

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the Configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are robust, scalable, and secure. You will play a key role in enhancing our architecture and supporting our development teams with infrastructure-as-a-code practices.

‍Roles and Responsibilities

‍•            Adminstrating the IT infrastructure & Help Desk team.

•            Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.

•            Ensure the security and integrity of the IT infrastructure.

•            Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective resolutions.

•            Conduct security assessments and apply best practices to safeguard our systems.

•            Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures for knowledge sharing Implement and manage new technologies to improve efficiency.

•            Represents the Data Centre Program migration for planning the readiness of infrastructure components to move to the new data center(s).

•            Develops test and acceptance criteria for internet protocol networks.

‍Requirements and Skills

‍•            Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

•            4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related field.

•            Strong knowledge of network and system administration including Linux.

•            Knowing of security best practices includes vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery.

•            Experience with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.

•            Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, or Splunk.

•            Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools.

•            Ability to optimize performance and reliability of distributed systems

•            Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on proactive solutions.

•            Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.

•            Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•            A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.

•            Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
