MelliGold is looking for a data-driven and experienced Trading Manager to join our trading desk. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the gold market, executing strategic buy/sell operations, managing treasury inventory, and ensuring year-round profitability despite high market volatility. You will also analyze trading data, spot trends, and collaborate closely with product and tech teams to improve pricing models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor real-time gold market prices and identify buy/sell spread opportunities
- Execute gold purchase and sale transactions to optimize profitability and manage treasury inventory effectively
- Analyze platform trading data (e.g., user behavior, volumes, buying/selling patterns) to inform decision-making
- Prepare regular reports on trading performance, trends, and insights for management
- Perform both technical and fundamental market analysis to anticipate price movements
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve pricing algorithms and alert systems
- Identify trading opportunities and mitigate risks using data and analytical tools
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in gold trading, capital markets, or treasury operations
- Strong knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis and macroeconomic drivers of the gold market
- Proficient in data tools such as Excel (advanced), Google Sheets, Power BI or similar platforms
- Ability to make informed, quick decisions in highly volatile market conditions
- Familiarity with trading platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader, or similar tools
- High attention to detail, strong numerical analysis skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making
- Prior experience in fintech, brokerage, or commodity trading is a plus
