About Role
As a Senior Merchant Activation Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a smooth and reliable onboarding experience for our offline merchants. You will ensure that all required hardware, software, and system integrations are set up accurately and on time. By acting as a technical partner, you will guide merchants through activation, address their technical challenges, and provide the necessary training to help them maintain seamless offline operations. Your contribution will directly support SnappPay’s mission to deliver a consistent, high-quality payment experience across all touchpoints
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely technical activation of offline stores, providing hands-on support for configuring required hardware, software, and integrations.
- Coordinate all setup activities with merchants and verify that technical tools and devices operate smoothly.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and IT Support teams to secure seamless activation and stable ongoing performance.
- Deliver practical, on-site or remote technical training to merchant staff on using hardware and software tools.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with merchants, addressing technical inquiries via on-site visits, phone, or online channels.
- Document activation workflows, technical requirements, and merchant feedback to support continuous process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted BNPL transaction acceptance across offline locations.
Requirements
- Familiarity with POS systems, QR code integrations, and offline payment setups.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve on-site technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with merchants and cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of network connectivity and hardware installation (e.g., terminals, scanners).
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently for on-site merchant support.
- Experience working in offline retail environments or with merchant hardware.
- Familiarity with fintech systems, including BNPL platforms.
