Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a passionate Junior to Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our technical team at Takhfifan. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing services in production online business environments and is responsible for keeping business-critical services and infrastructure reliable, secure, and scalable.
This role requires close collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to improve automation, monitoring, and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
•Assist in maintaining and operating DevOps infrastructure and services
• Participate in improving and upgrading DevOps tools and platforms
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Perform day-to-day basic database tasks with guidance and established procedures
• Troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues in collaboration with infrastructure and development teams
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for incidents and emergency deployments
• Document DevOps infrastructure, workflows, and operational procedures
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools
• Hands-on experience with common observability stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience configuring and tuning NGINX as a reverse proxy and Varnish as a cache/web server
• Good knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Working experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Practical experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience using Ansible, or a strong interest in learning infrastructure automation
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and improve continuously
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
• Experience setting up Kubernetes clusters (Talos OS is a plus)
• Experience writing and maintaining Kubernetes manifests
• Familiarity with k3s
• Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD
• Experience deploying applications using Helm charts
• Familiarity with Grafana Alloy, Mimir, and Tempo
• Experience using InfluxDB as a monitoring backend (Flux / InfluxQL)
• Knowledge of HAProxy as a reverse proxy
• Basic understanding of Apache APISIX as an API Gateway
• Some experience with ClickHouse
• Comfortable reading technical documentation in English and using LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve productivity
