Senior PHP Fullstack Developer (PHP Backend + PHP Frontend)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Full-stack Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work on building, improving, and maintaining internal and customer-facing systems using modern PHP technologies. The role involves both backend (nikic/FastRoute) and frontend (mdbootstrap) responsibilities.
Our environment is fully remote-friendly, collaborative, and English-speaking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services (currently using nikic/FastRoute) and work towards improving the system with Laravel or Symfony.
• Build and refine frontend features using MDBootstrap while continuing to add a modern touch.
• Implement and integrate REST and SOAP APIs
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability across all applications
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous product improvement
• Work within agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience with PHP
• Strong expertise in Laravel and/or Symfony
• Good understanding of frontend development (Vue.js or React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
• Strong API experience (REST, SOAP)
• Skilled in Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Experience with microservices is a plus
• Good written and spoken English
