Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist who can analyze complex datasets, develop predictive and optimization models, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and hands-on data analytics, and can collaborate effectively with data engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process data to generate meaningful insights for business teams
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models
• Build, evaluate, and maintain predictive and optimization models
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Product teams
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data analysis
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing models
• Document methodologies, experiments, and results

Required Skills

• Strong command of **statistics and probability**
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, including:

               XGBoost
               Random Forest
               Logistic Regression and other standard models

• Proficiency in SQL (query writing, optimization, data manipulation)
• Strong Python skills, especially with libraries such as:

               NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn

• Familiarity with data engineering concepts*and ability to work with data pipelines

Nice-to-Have Skills

•  Experience with Learning to Rank methods
•  Experience with pricing models or pricing-related projects
•  Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Spark or Hive
•  Experience building or maintaining data pipelines
